Policy Statement

At Xiel we are committed to protecting the environment and ensuring that our operations are conducted in an environmentally responsible and sustainable manner. As a distributor of nuclear medicine, pharmaceutical and medical equipment products used in the fields of oncology and diagnostic radiology, we recognise the environmental impact of our operations and strive to continually improve our environmental performance through the effective implementation of our Environmental Management System (EMS).

We fully support the principles and requirements of ISO 14001:2015 and are dedicated to:

  • Compliance: Meeting all applicable environmental laws, regulations, and other obligations relevant to our operations, including those associated with the distribution, handling, storage, and transportation of pharmaceutical products and materials.
  • Prevention of Pollution: Minimizing pollution and the generation of waste through eƯicient processes, sustainable resource use, and responsible waste disposal.
  • Continuous Improvement: Enhancing our environmental performance by setting objectives, monitoring progress, and regularly reviewing our activities, products, and services to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Environmental Awareness: Promoting awareness and environmental responsibility among employees, suppliers, and contractors through communication, training, and engagement.
  • Sustainable Practices: Embedding sustainability into our business operations, including procurement, logistics, and supplier selection, to reduce our overall environmental footprint.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Considering the needs and expectations of interested parties, including customers, regulators, employees, and the local community, in our environmental planning and decision-making processes.

This Environmental Plan has been reviewed and signed off by the Managing Director.
