This statement sets out the steps Xiel Limited has taken to prevent modern slavery in our own
business and in our supply chains. It covers the financial year ending 2025-26.
Our turnover is below £36 million, so we are not required to publish a statement under Section
54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. We publish one because we think it is the right thing to do.
Our business
Xiel is a UK distributor of specialist radiotherapy, diagnostic radiology and nuclear
medicine/radiopharmaceutical products. We hold a WDA(H) licence and are certified to ISO
9001:2015.
Our policies
We have a Modern Slavery Policy and a Supplier Code of Conduct. Staff and others can raise
concerns through our whistleblowing route, in confidence.
Where the risks are
We have assessed our supply chain. Our direct suppliers are low risk. None of our suppliers
were found to be high risk.
What we do about it
Modern slavery checks are part of how we approve and manage suppliers. We check the right to
work of everyone we employ and pay at least the National Minimum Wage. Relevant staff
receive modern slavery awareness training.
Plans for the next year
We will refresh staff training, extend our supplier checks, and review our risk assessment. We
will also look at mapping our higher-risk supply chains one tier deeper.
